This is the description of the 2013 Spring Into Change group. I will post details on the 2014 group in February.
Do You Want Something to Change This Year?
If you answered yes to this question, you may now be feeling a bit uncomfortable, frustrated, or even scared. If you are like most of us, knowing that you want something to change is not the same as knowing exactly what that change is, or how to make it happen.
Maybe you have something niggling at you, some change you want to make. Or maybe you’re feeling like you’re setting aside the things you most want. Or maybe you’re just feeling stuck or unfulfilled in your life right now.
Whatever your situation, you have what it takes to discover the right path and make the changes you want to make. But it can be hard to stay focused on what you want in the midst of your complex and already very full life.
Maybe it’s time to give yourself the time and focus you need to figure out what you want and how to step into a life that has room for all of you.
Take a moment now to stop and ask yourself:
What Would Support You in Making the Changes You Want to Make?
How about:
- Time set aside to focus just on you and what you want to be creating?
- Honest, open, reflective conversations with others who are creating change in their own lives?
- New tools for figuring out what you most want, getting out of stuck spots and accessing your strengths, your imagination, your best self?
If that sounds good to you, I’m inviting you to join 8-10 other people who are also on a journey of self-discovery and creation for a six week facilitated coaching group starting April 17th.
What Kinds of Changes Will This Group Support?
The group can support you in making changes in health, relationships, work, creative endeavors, and many other areas. Whether you are in a period of crisis that is asking you to rebuild your life from the ground up, or just feeling lost or stuck in some particular way, this group can provide you with support and tools to come back to your center and move forward from there.
When, Where, What and How Much
Cost
The cost is $175, and can be paid in three installments (contact me if you need details).
I will also be offering group participants a discount on individual coaching sessions during the time they are participating, and for the month after. This is both a way for people to catch up if they miss a session (not required, but often desired), and to deepen the work they are doing in the group. The cost for individual coaching sessions for group members is $45/session.
Dates
The group will meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. starting April 17th and ending May 22nd, at my home in outer SE Portland. It will be limited to 10 participants.
If you have questions about accessibility or anything else about the space, please contact me. (Please note: I do have cats. I will vacuum well and they will be kept out of the space while we are meeting, but if you are extremely allergic this is probably not the group for you.)
What Will We Do?
The group will use coaching-based exercises, writing, reflective practices, and some more tactile/intuitive projects, to give you new tools and to guide and support the changes you want to make. I will ask you to write in a journal for 10-15 minutes every day during the 8 weeks we are meeting, using the “morning pages” model from the Artists Way as a foundation and offering some optional prompts for more focused journaling for those who want that. (You will not be asked to share your writing with the group.)
Want to reserve a spot?
The deadline for registration is April 12th. The space will only accommodate 10 people, so I encourage you to register quickly if you know you want to be a part of the group.
Please contact me to let me know you want to participate, and then send a check for $100 to reserve your spot to me at 9777 SE Tenino Ct. Portland OR 97086.
